KAUNAS PHOTO festival 09-20 Artist talk & Guided tour

On 20 of September, at 5pm, at “Ars et mundus” gallery (A. Mapų str. 20) Mikolaj Nowacki (Poland) the author of the exhibition “Odra” presented his works. Later, organisers of KAUNAS PHOTO festival invited to guided tour at the exhibition “The Restoration Will” by Mayumi Suzuki (Japan) which is on display at Kaunas Photography Gallery (Vilniaus str. 2).




KAUNAS PHOTO festival 09-18 artist talks

On 18 of September, at 1 pm, at Multi-functional Study and Science center of Vytautas Magnus University (V. Putvinskio str. 23) KAUNAS PHOTO festival held the artist talks by Mikolaj Nowacki (Poland), Tymon Markowski (Poland), Yan Wang Preston (UK) and Santiago Escobar-Jaramillo (Columbia). Mindaugas Kavaliauskas the director of the festival also presented works by Jan Caga (Czech republic) “Danube- the Blue River” and by Vitus Saloshanka (Belarus/Germany) “Nemunas Journey”.

At 5pm  KAUNAS PHOTO festival invited to the artist talks and guided tour at the exhibition “Rivers” which is on display at Kaunas city museum, Lithuanian folk music history department (L. Zamenhofo str. 12).




“Rivers” exhibition opening

On 1st of September, at 5 pm., at Kaunas city museum, Lithuanian folk music history department (L. Zamenhofo str. 12) will be the opening of the exhibition “Rivers”. This exhibition presents different photography series created by six authors: Federico Rios Escobar (Columbia) “FARC“, Jan Caga (Czech republic) “Danube- the Blue River“, John Trotter (USA) “No agua, No vida“, Mathieu Nonnenmacher (France) “Light the river“, Mikolaj Nowacki (Poland) “Odra“, Yan Wang Preston (UK) “Mother River“.
